Description
This activity is designed to support our simplified versions of Macbeth. It supports Part 3.
Learners are given a series of simple, scrambled sentences. In pairs or threes, they physically unscramble the words and reorder them to make a sentence that matches a corresponding picture from the story.
The illustrations are from the BBCs excellent adaptation of Macbeth, available from BBC Teach.
The activity can be followed up by learners reading the sentences to construct a complete text. By familiarising themselves with the sentences, this will support EAL learners to re-tell this part of the story in their own words too.
