Description
Getting learners who are in the early stages of developing English to talk can sometimes be challenging. Barrier games, (or information gap activities as they are sometimes called) are brilliant for encouraging this.
Our Local Environment Barrier Game introduces learners to places and objects they might see in and around their local area. The grid used in this game has coloured squares, helping children to identify and use the names of basic colours in their instructions. This activity can also support learners’ development of positional language.
