Food Bingo

Description

This activities introduces children to some basic food from British and other cultures.

It will help children in the early stages of developing English to identify and name some of the most common foods. It will also encourage them to socialise and interact with other children and adults as they play.  The game can be adapted as a writing prompt e.g. children can select food to make a meal and describe what they have chosen orally and in simple sentences. It can also help learners to talk about what they might eat during the day, as part of an induction progamme.
