This sorting activity, along with Activity 3a(2), supports our Guided Language Activities (GLA) programme. It is part of Unit 1d which introduces pupils to a range of basic foods.

Along with our GLAs, this activity helps newly arrived pupils in the very early stages of learning English to develop some basic vocabulary and simple language structures relating to the topic of food and eating.
