Description
Our 2D Shapes Barrier Game supports learners’ language development through giving instructions about coloured 2D shapes. Children learn to recognise, name and describe 2D shapes.
Barrier games, (or information gap activities as they are sometimes called) are brilliant for encouraging learners to practice the language they have acquired in different contexts.
This game has number grid, but you can also play it with a colour grid. To make it more challenging, use an empty 2×3 grid. This means players can use prepositional language to describe where their partner places the picture on the grid.
